Happy Valentine's day everyone =)

Papa E is not the most romantic guy there is. He is thoughtful and caring - but not romantic. He would buy me gifts that I like, want or need and would usually give these in between occasions. But we've been together long enough to know not to expect anything on Valentine's day.

But he stepped up this year by giving me a box of my favourite chocolate. We also had a candlelit dinner at home which was really lovely and, yes - romantic. We know we can't go out on a date because we don't have any relatives that could look after Poj. But nevertheless, it was still nice to have a grown up dinner and have a grown up conversation.  We miss moments like this and we will try to do it more often...

    Yes you should do it more often. You shouldn't stop chessy things just because you're both busy or have a child. The longer you're together, the more you should cherish the old courting days. Sabi yan ng love guru ko. hehehe. Dapat daw ang couple merong US time without the kid. Hayaan mo sis, when I get there, I'll take care of Poj so you can go out. hehehe.

    wow! my favorite chocolate, ako na lang bibili para sa sarili ko. hehe! actually, i also learned not to expect anything and mas feel mo  pag nasusurprise ka, masasabi mo, "love pala niya ko". hehe! kaysa sa nag-eexpect tapos wala pala. =)

    Hay sana mabasa ni Papa E ang comment mo para naman maulit ito. E ang idea of a date nun eh manood ng action movie (which I don't mind kung maganda yung movie) at mag-gorcery na pagkatapos - date ba yun!?!
